There are Many People ( mostly the younger generation) who are keen to getting into rabbit farming in India. Few of them with some background to agriculture and most of them without any practical exposure. Well this blog is being published to help and give a fair idea to an absolute newbie in agriculture and animal husbandry as to what are all key inputs that they need to keep in mind before jumping in to start your own farm.
Well, I thought to share our experience with you all as we ( Me and my better half) our selves jumped into rabbit farming without any kind of agriculture background or exposure.

Well before i continue further let us understand some basic questions that we all might come up with or FAQ's such as to:
- why are rabbits reared in the first place,
- How does the economy work out for small and large farms
- What and where is the present market for rabbits
- What are the kind of investments that you need to start one
- What are the other basic infrastructures like shed( housing for rabbits), Land for growing fodder, water resources etc necessary to start a rabbit farm.
- Labour or farm help requirements.
